When booking time with us you agree to the terms and conditions as set out below:

Necessary Requirements

• Upon booking the first lesson You are required to send the Instructor a check licence code and the last 8 digits of your licence number, obtainable from gov.uk/view-driving-licence. To get the code You will need your Driving Licence Number, National Insurance Number and the Post Code on your Driving Licence.
• You must bring a current and valid provisional licence to the first lesson. Failure to do this will result in the lesson being cancelled and You will be charged.
• You must be able to read a number plate from 20.5 meters, approximately 5 car lengths. If You are unable to do so, the lesson will not proceed, You will be charged and advice given to consult an Optician.
• Pick up and drop off points will be from the same place, unless agreed with the Instructor at the time of booking the lesson.

Cancellation of Lessons

• A full 48-hours’ notice of cancellation is required. Any lesson cancelled within 48-hours of your lesson time will result in loss of your deposit.
• All cancellations within the 48-hour cancellation period will be charged for irrespective of the reason
• A maximum of 15 minutes lateness will be tolerated. During this time contact will be attempted by the Instructor. Beyond 15 minutes the lesson will be deemed cancelled and You will be charged in full.
• As much notice as possible will be given to You in the unlikely event of the Instructor cancelling a lesson. No liability will be accepted by the Instructor for losses incurred by You. In the unlikely event that the Instructor cannot attend the test with You, You will refunded the test fee if no alternative arrangement can be made.

Block Bookings

• Block bookings are a set of pre-paid lessons eg five (5) x two-hour lessons.
• Block bookings must be paid prior to, or immediately after the first lesson – failure to do so will result in You being charged a £30 administration fee. Please note that any pre-paid discount will also be lost.
• Block bookings must be used within 12 months of purchase.
• If required, block bookings can be refunded. Refunds will be calculated using the current standard hourly rate.
• All refunds will be processed within five (5) working days.

Payment of lessons

• Lessons can be booked in either one and a half or two-hours
• Lessons can be paid either by bank transfer or cash.
• A 50% deposit will be required for all slots upon booking
• All lessons irrelevant of the tariff (pay as you go or block booking) must be paid either prior to or immediately after the lesson. If payment is not received by the end of the day, then contact will be made.
• Lesson prices are subject to change, You will be notified 14 days prior to such a change.

Driving Tests

• Practical tests must only be booked with prior agreement with the Instructor – this is to ensure availability for the test.
• Test fees must be paid to your Instructor prior to the test being booked.
• Tests must be booked by mutual agreement and if your driving ability is not maintained up to the test date then the test will be rearranged within the DVSA alteration/cancellation policy.
• Practical test bookings will be charged as a minimum of a 2-hour booking. Pre-test session length will depend on type of test to be sat and pick up/drop of locations.
• It is You the Pupil’s responsibility to bring everything You need with You to the practical test: e.g. Driving Licence, Theory Test Pass Certificate, appropriate eye wear if required.
